How I Can Help
We seek out therapy when we acknowledge the old way isn't working. Often we don't even know what the real problem is. Health issues, a difficult partner, lack of self-confidence, a stressful job, a significant loss, indecision, unexplained anger, old resentments that resurface. Many issues can prompt us to make the call. The surprising thing is that once we begin the process, once we start talking to another person who is there to focus solely on us, things often begin to feel different.

What is Psychotherapy?
If you are reading about psychotherapy you may be wondering, "Is this the right path for me?" People start therapy for all kinds of reasons. There are as many different reasons to start therapy as there are people.
I usually spend a few sessions with people carefully listening to them describe the situation that brings them.
